Rhythmical Einreinbung

Rhythmical Einreinbung was developed in the 1920s in Switzerland by Dr. Ita Wegman and later by Margarethe Hauschka, based on the principles of Anthroposophic Medicine.

It is a very gentle and harmonising massage working into soft tissues, supporting and promoting the self-healing forces of the body through the qualities of warmth, rhythm and breathing.

Being that the body is made primarily of water, using calm, rhythmical flowing movements blends directly into the fluid-body responsible for renewal and vitality.

The quality of touch is its signature: the hand movements glide gently and fluidly over the skin supporting inner harmony. It addresses to that vital, etheric body, responsible for all regenerative processes. It's the energy which gives a sense of vitality and wellbeing when in harmony and a sense of depletion when tired.

It improves rhythmic life processes of sleeping and waking, breathing, circulation, digestion and elimination as well as relaxation, relief of pain, tissue healing, and awareness of one's center and boundaries.

Importance is also given to the medicinal, biodynamic plant-based oils applied during the treatment. The oils are carefully selected according to their therapeutic effect in order to customize each treatment.

Oiling has always been considered a holy practice in all traditions and it marks all life stages from the beginning until the end. While applying medicinal plant oils on the skin, the force within the plant and its signature are also transferred.

A quiet rest terminates the treatment, it provides the safe place for the body response. The body is wrapped in a veil of oil which brings the Self back as in a warm embrace.

Among the indications are: stress and anxiety; sleep disorders; headaches; muscular tension; back pain; immune and auto-immune disorders; eating and digestive disorders; hormonal imbalances associated with menstruation and menopause.

It is suitable for all ages.
